Website service terms.

Here’s what you’re paying for, what happens next and how Website Care works. We complete and both sign your project agreement before you pay.

Your website — $500 total

Three pages: Home, Services and Contact. The build includes a layout for phones and computers, your approved content, call buttons, a tested contact form, a secure connection, help connecting your website address, and basic page titles, descriptions and a sitemap for search engines.

You get two rounds of changes before launch. Send one combined list for each round. Extra pages, new features and larger additions need a separate quote that you approve. Domain purchases and renewals, email accounts and advertising aren’t included.

Pay $250 now, $250 after approval

Pay $250 to start. Once you approve the preview in writing, pay the final $250 before the site goes live. You can instead pay $500 upfront for the same build. Prices include applicable Texas sales tax.

I aim to send the first personalized preview in 48–72 hours after your starting payment and the information and access needed to build it. Your review, requested changes and website-address connection can affect the launch date.

Your content and accounts

Send the essential business details within five business days, unless we agree on another date. Only supply photos, logos and text you own or have permission to use. Check that your services, hours, contact details and any license or insurance claims are accurate.

We agree on account changes before making them and keep your existing business email working. Account access is arranged by invitation or a setup session. Keep passwords and payment details out of forms and emails; enter card information directly in Stripe.

Cancellations, refunds and fixes

If you cancel before work starts, I refund the build payment. After work starts, you’re charged only for completed milestones: $250 for a preview you accept, and $250 for launch or an agreed handoff. Payments for unfinished milestones are refunded. The starting payment isn’t automatically nonrefundable.

I initiate agreed refunds within ten business days; your bank may take additional time. If you report a problem with work included in the agreement within 30 days of launch or handoff, I correct it without an extra charge.

Optional Website Care — $79/month

Care includes hosting, a secure connection, saved website copies, relevant updates, a monthly site and contact-form check, upkeep of existing search titles and descriptions, and up to two small requests totaling 30 minutes per month. Unused time doesn’t carry over.

New pages, larger changes, additional features, domain renewal, email accounts, ads and SEO campaigns are separate. I confirm any extra cost with you before doing the work.

Care begins at the agreed launch or service-start date. You approve recurring billing in Stripe. For a split-payment build, you may pay the final $250 and first $79 month together: $329 at launch, then $79/month. This replaces the separate final-balance and Care payments. If a delay on my side prevents Care from starting, we arrange a credit or refund for unused service and adjust or cancel billing.

Support and cancellation

Support hours are Monday–Friday, 9 am–5 pm Central, except federal holidays. I reply to routine requests within one business day and aim to complete ordinary small edits within two business days after receiving your instructions. I acknowledge a reported outage within four business hours and work to restore service. This is best-effort support, not a 24/7 service or a guaranteed repair deadline.

Cancel through the billing portal or by email before your next renewal. Service continues through the period you’ve paid for. There is no minimum term or cancellation fee. If a payment is missed, I give notice and seven calendar days to resolve it before suspending service. Urgent security threats may require immediate protective action and notice.

Your website, your business details

You keep ownership of your domain and the content you supply. After full payment, you own the original work I created specifically for your site and can keep using, editing or moving the included template with your website. I keep ownership of reusable templates and tools; third-party licenses still apply.

Care is optional. On request, I provide your paid-up website files and handoff instructions within five business days. Canceling Care doesn’t automatically move your site to another host; we arrange that separately.

The full agreement

We don’t guarantee search rankings, leads or sales. The agreement also covers lawful use, protection of confidential information and responsibility if something goes wrong. Both parties’ liability is limited, where lawful, to fees paid for the affected services in the previous 12 months; indirect losses are excluded. Exceptions include fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury and rights that cannot legally be limited. Refunds and delivery of paid-up files remain due.

I work as an independent contractor. Texas law applies, with Brazos County as the agreed venue where permitted. Changes to your agreement need both parties’ written approval; later invoices can’t add undisclosed terms.
